Trent's Lawyer reads the will for Melanie and Max. Trent was insolvent, but Melanie gets an envelope and Max gets a box. Apparently, Trent was not only insolvent, but he was also cheap.

Kate starts chemotherapy. She wants Phillip and Lucas to run things for her while she's out of commission.

Chelsea decides to put Kate and Daniel's affair behind her. She gives Kate a St. Sophia medal.

Abe and Lexie prepare for a magazine photography session while Theo throws a tantrum.

The sniper takes a potshot at Sami. EJ saves her. Sami calls Lucas who runs back to the Horton Cabin.

Melanie tells Phillip about the night Trent was killed, and then offers to buy his silence.

Bo and Hope question Max and Stephanie.

Melanie leaves Nick confused.

Max tries to apologize to Stephanie but she tells him it's over.

Nick agrees to have dinner with Chelsea, but something comes up.

Stefano tells Lexie he had nothing to do with Mayor Moreno's murder.

Stephanie tells Max she blabbed to Bo and Hope. Max ends their relationship. Farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye, kaput.

Nicole and EJ decide to give their relationship a chance. They start by romping around on the couch in Stefano's rumpus room.

Lucas tracks Sami down at the clinic. Sami tells him she has made a big decision.

Chloe follows Lucas, snoops around in Sami's medical records and finds out Sami is pregnant.

Chloe confronts Lucas. Lucas tells her the baby is not his. Chloe figures out who the father must be.

Lexie demands Stefano withdraw his support for Mayor Moreno. She tells him Moreno has been spreading lies about the DiMeras.

Sami sees EJ and Nicole rumpusing.

Mayor Moreno takes a couple of bullets.

Nicole is evicted, so EJ invites her to live at the DiMera mansion. He and Nicole tell Stefano she is pregnant with EJ's child.

John gives up all claim to the DiMera empire in order to please Marlena. He tells her he has done that, and then also tells her he signed the divorce papers.

Sami asks Lucas to tell people the baby is his. Lucas refuses, so Sami heads for an abortion clinic.

Chloe goes to Marlena for advice about Lucas. She tells Marlena she thinks Lucas is cheating on her with Sami.

EJ visits Sami, who continues to hide her pregnancy. She quickly gets rid of him.

Bo and Roman search Max' apartment and find the bloody shirt. It matches the fiber from the murder scene and Trent's blood is on it.

Melanie remembers being with Trent the night he was murdered.

Stephanie and Melanie go at each other's throats.

Mayor Moreno taunts Bo and Roman.

Lucas tells Sami she has to be the one to tell EJ she is pregnant. Sami refuses.

Max tries to convince Melanie to stay away from Phillip. Melanie doesn't take his advice.

Chelsea finds out Kate is very ill and worries that she has been to hard on her.

Kayla advises Marlena not to move on then does a complete 180º and advises her to march over there and hand him the divorce papers herself.

Sami is indignant after she and Lucas spend the night together in the same bed.

EJ searches for Sami. Lucas finds him and discovers Sami still hasn't told him her big secret.

Sami blows up when she finds Stefano babysitting Johnny.

John advises Stefano to give up his battle for the DiMera empire.

Morgan catches Phillip and Chloe Kissing. Chloe heads for Kansas City and Morgan heads for Chicago.

Sami doesn't want to go back to the DiMera mansion so she agrees to spend the night with Lucas.

The doctor tells Sami she's pregnant. Lucas calls EJ and tells him to get to the hospital pronto.

Nicole goes to the DiMera mansion for her big date with EJ, but he stands her up for Sami.

Caroline reveals what happened the night Trent was murdered. The DA phones Mickey and tells him there are witnesses who saw Caroline holding a knife on Trent
