Morgan whines, "I've just never had anybody save my life before." Phillip says, I'd do it again... In a heartbeat."

Ava rushes in, "Thank God you're here. We've got big trouble." John asks, "What's going on?" Ava says, "I'm being followed. I'm sure of it."

Hope tells Bo, "Now you're acting like a Kiriakis, not the man I love."

Null And Void

The word spreads that Lucas has made a deal and has been released from prison. Chloe, Nicole and Sami swoop in on him in his hospital room.

Max runs into an acquaintance of Melanie's. She owes the guy money and he wants Max to Pay.

Nick figures out how to find Melanie.

Nicole tells EJ she is still married to Trent.

Sami spreads her blithering, sobbing brand of joy all over Salem as she argues and grovels with EJ and then Lucas.

Lucas tells Sami he wants time to think things over. Sami makes Niagara Falls look like a leaky faucet.

A Bloated Rag Doll

Chloe gives up on Phillip and tells Morgan she will support her if she makes him happy.

Nicole and Chloe strike up a friendship.

Hope confronts Bo with her suspicions there was something else in the envelope. A mystery email adds fuel to the fire.

Daniel blows up at Kate for sending Victor into cardiac arrest. He apologizes to both Kate and Chelsea for his outburst.

John takes Ava to his dungeon, where he reveals he has been keeping Paul.

Morgan fantasizes about being with Phillip.

Sami says to EJ, "This has been great. I hope we can find a way to get on and be friends."

Roman says, "I had my doubts about you doing this." Lucas asks, "I don't have to go back to prison, right?"

Phillip is shot and rushed to the hospital where he vegetates.

Kate tells Victor about Phillip's shooting and Victor goes into cardiac arrest.

Hope continues to badger Bo about what he knows about the Hollingsworth case.

Morgan goes berserk. Bo and Hope take her to the SPD to make a statement.

Ava gets good news about her trial. She "thanks" John for helping her.

Daniel and Chelsea bicker; Daniel comforts Kate.

Hormonal

Ava makes it obvious to Marlena that she and John slept together. Marlena tells Ava she will fight for her husband.

Practically in the same breath, Marlena asks John if he wants a divorce.

Patch tells Kayla and Caroline about his conversation with Bo, but withholds critical details.

Phillip gets a mystery note and rushes to confront John.

Morgan confronts John about her father. Gunfire and chaos erupts.

We hear a gunshot and confusion reigns as Morgan sobs.

Sick And Drugged Or Sane And Sober

Daniel gives Chelsea a tour of his new apartment.

The train is delayed on the way to Marseilles. Max and Stephanie figure out something to do while they wait.

Patch tells Roman he will testify against Ava.

Phillip takes Morgan home. Bo warns him about being seen with her.

Bo searches for more clues in the Hollingsworth case, tells Patch about Phillip's involvement and destroying the evidence.

John tells Marlena Ava will be staying with him.

EJ gives Ava bad news about her case.

The cops drag the river for Paul's body.

Phillip comforts Morgan. She talks about her relationship with her father.

Hope thinks Bo is hiding something. Bo wants to work on the Hollingsworth case alone.

Bo tells Phillip if he's the murderer, Bo will confess to destroying evidence and take Phillip down with him.

Kate and Anna have drinks together.

Tony confronts John about Paul.

Chelsea invites Daniel to dinner at Bo and Hope's house.

Daniel warns Bo to slow down and tells him to stop stressing Victor.

Kate tries to reassure Phillip. Phillip tries to reassure Morgan.

The SPD finds a clue in the Paul Hollingsworth case.

A strange man accosts Stephanie on the train.

Daniel meets Kate while looking at an apartment. They get a little too reminiscent about their affair.

Tony says, "Don't try to snow me, Kate." Kate says, "I don't know what you're talking about." Tony says, "Oh, Kate, What's going on, or should I ask what are you trying to hide?"

Morgan whimpers, "I know he wouldn't just up and leave if he wasn't really scared of something or someone."

Writhing

Because it's Friday and we're in a really good mood here at the Prevuze Compound, we've included Steve and Kayla's little dust up over Ava in this clip. Ordinarily, we would just have included the final scene which today was John and Ava going at it. Sami tries to sublet her apartment to Ava, but the deal falls through when we discover who the neighbors across the hall are.

Patch and Kayla bring L'il Joe home from the hospital. To heck with the baby, Kayla explodes over Patch's little indiscretion with Ava.

Chloe comes to see Lucas off to prison and tells him it's all her fault.

Sami and Chloe argue over Lucas. Sami claims Lucas gong back to prison is Chloe's fault. Chloe claims it's Sami's fault. No one ever stops to think it might be Lucas' fault.

Marlena asks Roman to help get John's memory back.

John and Ava have a rooftop rendezvous.

Lucas agrees to a deal with Roman that will send Lucas to maximum security. Sami hears about it and falls apart.

Bo tells Phillip he's suppressing evidence to protect him.

John and EJ cook up a business deal.

Trent asks Nicole to do some detective work for him.

John and Ava gross EJ out when he finds them together on the couch.

Marlena asks Roman to help Lucas. Roman says he will try.

Abe brings Theo over to Bo and Hope's place. While Theo and Ciara play, Abe confides in Hope.

Victor talks Bo into giving him the incriminating evidence against Phillip.

Kate tries to find out why Phillip is so upset.

Max rides a train through France. The Paparazzi catch up with him.

Stephanie whines around because Max left without her.

Kayla convinces Patch he has to support Stephanie and stop being an overprotective father.

Sami finds out Chloe slept with Lucas. She responds the only rational, intelligent way any sensible adult would... with a food fight.

EJ gets caught in the middle of things. He comes up with a way to keep Sami from leaving the mansion.

Victor struggles to survive. He asks Bo to keep an eye on Phillip.

Morgan finds out she has a package to pick up at the Post Office.

Phillip and Chloe talk about their relationship.

Kate and Daniel talk about their brief fling.

Nicole and Chloe declare an uneasy truce.

Paramedics rush Victor to the hospital after he collapses. Dr. Dan goes into action.

Max leaves Stephanie and Caroline a note and heads for Europe in search of Melanie.

The usual suspects congregate outside Victor's room.

Kate warns Chloe to stay away from the Kiriakis men. Chloe tells Kate there is more to the story.

Chelsea starts her job as an Occupational Therapist trainee. She'll be the head of the OT department in six months.

Kate tells Daniel she's glad he's there to support Chelsea, but Chelsea can never find out about them.

EJ meets with Nicole and Victor as they sign the papers finalizing their divorce.

Max tells Trent he's through hating him. He tells Stephanie he wants to put this all behind him, so he's not going to look for Melanie.

Morgan tells Chloe she thinks she's lying because she is jealous of Morgan's relationship with Phillip.

Lucas refuses to tell the cops or anyone else why he was at the Salem Inn.

Sami falls apart as they haul Lucas off to prison.

Nicole tells Trent to leave her alone.

Victor collapses.

Bo says, "You never know. Maybe the judge will be more lenient this time." Lucas says, "Not with my third offense he won't. It's mandatory... I have to go back to jail."

Nicole says, "I just want to end this depressing chapter in my life." EJ asks, "Does that include our relationship?"

Two-Timing Jerk

Chloe and Lucas romp in Elevator #1 while Nicole and EJ romp in Elevator #2.

Max and Stephanie set the pub up as an emergency shelter while Max obsesses about his childhood, and wonders if he has a sister.

Sami is at the Salem Inn and she intercepts EJ and Nicole as firemen rescue them from the elevator. Sami quickly figures out what happened and gives EJ both barrels.

Firemen rescue Chloe and Lucas as Lucas tries to make his getaway. The cops catch him and drag him off to jail, leaving a screaming Sami behind.

The great Salem blackout of 2008 continues.

EJ and Nicole, Lucas and Chloe have a hot time in their respective elevators.

Kate sees Daniel and EJ kissing and faints. Later, she tells Chelsea her relationship with Daniel is inappropriate.

Marlena has a conniption when she sees John has destroyed the disc.

Sami runs to the Salem Inn with the twins hoping to find some air conditioning.

Stephanie, Max and Nick cook up a scheme to pry information out of Trent.

Chelsea and Daniel show up at the Brady Independence Day party. Bo and Victor butt in.

Lucas is despondent over the fact that Sami still has feelings for EJ. He runs to Chloe.

Sami tells EJ they are through even if she does have feelings for him.

John catches Ava swiping the disc in the lab. She talks him into destroying it.

The Great Salem Blackout of 2008 hits with full force. Chloe and Lucas are trapped in an elevator as are EJ and Nicole.
